Common raised bed sizes

Start with a 4 by 4, 4 by 8, or 4 by 12 foot bed preset, then adjust the inside dimensions and fill depth. Multiple beds with different sizes can be combined in one estimate.

How the soil estimate works

The calculator adds each bed’s area, multiplies by fill depth, converts the volume using 27 cubic feet per cubic yard, and applies your optional settling allowance. Bag counts round up to whole bags.
